The events festivities will begin with a warm welcome at the Vespa Village, followed by an excursion to Lillehammer famous for its picturesque lakes and bright coloured houses on Friday 20th May. On the Saturday enthusiasts will parade for 30km to show off their scooters and after join for a gala evening meal.
Owing to last year’s success of the Vespa Trophy this competition will continue for 2011, please welcome any participating UK club members in your store and ensure that you confirm their visit to your dealership by stamping their travel book and allowing them to take a picture of their stop at your dealership.
A dedicated website has been set up and is already on line to support the Vespa Trophy www.vespatrophy.com this is where participants can find out information, register and download the travel booklet. As in 2010 the aim of the trophy is to obtain as many check point stamps on route to Gjovik as possible.
